Nice vibe, many different people come here. and pretty good food! Loved the corn cheese and side dishes. The meat is solid for the price. It's a popular spot with all kinds of people--families, friend groups, everyone. Parking is a bit tricky--you have to go around to the back. It's always super busy, so definitely make a reservation or expect a long wait. Service is friendly, but since they're so busy, I usually just do the BBQ myself.

The absolute best! Quality is *chefs kiss* and always soooooo good! I wish they had a bigger location to seat more (to avoid long waits) but it's worth it :)

Good quality kbbq. It's better for smaller parties (2-3) since you get the same amount of sides (steamed egg, soybean soup, and corn cheese). I get the brisket and galbi. Staff is nice but it gets busy so make a reservation.

Meokja Meokja is hands down the best Korean BBQ in NOVA. The meats are incredibly flavorful, nicely cut, and tender. The banchan (side dishes) are also the best I've had compared to other KBBQs, especially for someone who is an avid corn cheese lover. One thing to note is that this restaurant is not all-you-can-eat, but they do offer prix-fixe combos for groups of 2 or 4. I'd much rather go to Meokja than an AYCE place, as I prefer the quality of the meats here over the quantity you get elsewhere. The service is generally standard unless you're lucky enough to have Noah, whom I've had the pleasure of having a couple of times now. He always goes above and beyond to accommodate our table's requests and is a happy, personable person who has enhanced our experience at Meokja. The restaurant is clean, seating is usually quick (though I'd recommend making a reservation if you can), and it's never hard to get a server's attention. I highly recommend Meokja if you're anywhere near Fairfax--I drive 40 minutes for great KBBQ and service. I'd suggest getting the 'Combo 2,' which includes brisket, pork belly, bulgogi, and marinated short rib ($120 for 4). If not, make sure to try the marinated short rib.

We went here for the first time tonight and loved it. 4 of us split the combo #2-brisket, pork belly, bulgogi and galbi, plus all the sides and trimmings. It was all delicious, the galbi was my favorite, and the portions were perfect for 4. Service was very good as well. Will definitely come back!

We had an amazing time! The food was fantastic and the service amazing! There were 5 of us, so we decided to order Combo #2 which had great variety to meet everyone's interest. And it was a hit! Our favorites were the Bulgogi and Galbi. And our waiter made sure that all meats were cooked just right! Warning! You need to make a reservation well in advance ... but it's worth it.

Delicious kbbq in a smaller restaurant. I love a spot that doesn't make you do all you can eat. The wait is long so reservations are definitely recommended. The ban chan is delicious and the corn cheese is one of my favorites. Service is great and very helpful. Would definitely come back!

This is my FAVORITE Korean BBQ spot in the DMV. This review is long overdue, but I can also give a more objective review since I've been here several times over the years since its opening. The best thing about Meokja Meokja is that the quality of the food and service has not declined at all since it first opened. Service is always spectacular and the quality of the meats remain consistently fresh. Prices for the different cuts of meat in my opinion have also remained extremely fair. The banchan are also plentiful and yummy. They also finally allow reservations as well (make reservations online)! I highly recommend the brisket, spicy pork belly, galbi, and thick unmarinated pork belly! Don't forget to also order the corn cheese and egg :) Don't forget to tip the servers! They work so hard and always grill the meats to perfection!
